Back After a Month… and Some Writing News

Well… a whole month went by and I didn't post here like I promised I would.
Life happened.
There were weddings to attend, a short getaway in between, and the usual distractions that quietly steal time before you realise it's been weeks since you last sat down to write a blog post.
And now, I'm back.
And the good news is — I've already started writing my fourth book. So… yaay!
I actually feel really good about this one. With the last three books, I've learned so much — about writing, about pacing, about characters, and even about what readers notice that I might completely miss.
I've also been lucky to receive some thoughtful feedback. People have written to tell me what they loved, what stayed with them, and occasionally what confused them. And honestly, that kind of feedback is gold. It helps me see the story from outside my own head.
So with this book, I'm trying to be more mindful. More intentional. And I think that's going to show.
The plan right now is to build a series. Yes, a series.
I've been sitting with this idea for a while, and it feels right. A series means committing to a world, to characters who grow across books, to stories that build on each other. It's a long road; I know. But it's one I'm genuinely excited to be on.
I already have the world forming in my head: the people, the connections between them, the stories that overlap and unfold over time. And yes, before you ask… it's still going to be romance.
Because at the end of the day, I'm fascinated by relationships — how people meet, misunderstand each other, grow, fall apart, and sometimes find their way back. And honestly, a series feels like the right home for that. Those kinds of arcs take time to tell. One book is never quite enough.
That said, I've been wondering about something else lately.
I want to write short love stories too.
There's something appealing about the idea of getting stories out into the world faster. Writing a full-length book takes time, a lot of it , and between drafting, editing, and everything else, it can feel like ages before anything new reaches readers.
And if I'm being completely honest… I also don't want to disappear for too long between books.
So alongside the series, I'm going to experiment with shorter love stories. Small windows into relationships. Moments that still carry the emotional weight of a full romance, but in a more compact form.
For now though, I'm back to writing.
